Turmeric Elixir Hot Chocolate
Layla Osberg - Jan. 3, 2020
We love a mug of Murchie's Hot Chocolate anytime of year, but when the weather is cold and seasonal festivities are in full swing, we're especially keen on something sweet and rich. This year, we've put together a turmeric and cinnamon-infused, somewhat healthy recipe that will certainly satisfy.
Below are two recipes to choose from; you can either prepare this recipe in a pot on the stove top with hot milk or you can prepare it in a mug with hot water.
STOVE TOP RECIPE
Scoop 1 tablespoon of Turmeric Elixir tea per cup of milk (or water). Bring to a boil and turn off the heat. Add 1 tablespoon of Murchie's Hot Chocolate into the pot and stir well. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and serve.
IN A MUG RECIPE
Scoop two tablespoons of Murchie's Hot Chocolate into your favourite mug. Steep a pot of Turmeric Elixir tea and once finished steeping pour into your mug and stir well.
Enjoy!
