Classic Egg Cream
AJ Ward - April 5, 2023
Author: Layla Osberg
We love a treat anytime but especially a chocolate treat at Easter, and this soda fountain classic “egg cream” would make anybunny smile at Easter brunch. Served in a tall frosty glass, it's satisfyingly both chocolatey and refreshing! Try this recipe for a Murchie’s version.
Classic Egg Cream
IngredientsÂ
- 1/2 cup milk
- Seltzer, soda water or sparkling water
- Murchie’s Hot Chocolate Mix (1 full packet, or two tablespoons)
InstructionsÂ
- Add the milk to a tall 12oz glass.
- Add ice if you like.
- Slowly add the seltzer.
- Dissolve one packet of Murchie’s Hot Chocolate Mix into 2oz of hot water.
- Add the mixture to the milk.
- Stir.
Great with our classic Hot Chocolate, or try with our White Chocolate or Mint Chocolate for a new favourite!
