Mulling Spice Milky Coffee
J A - Dec. 15, 2023
Author: Layla Osberg
Mulling Spice is Nice
Murchie’s Christmas Coffee and Mulling Spice Blend make for a *very* cozy combination. The mulling spices are heated and steeped in milk and poured over freshly brewed coffee. The spiced milk with notes of orange and licorice really warms the soul for a special holiday morning treat that would taste just as good added to your favourite cuppa as it does with coffee.
Mulling Spice Milky Coffee
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of Murchie’s Mulling Spices
- 2 cups milk of choice
- 2 cups of freshly brewed Murchie’s Christmas Blend Coffee
- Sweetener to taste
Instructions
- Brew coffee
- In a small pot, heat the milk and mulling spices over medium heat until steaming. Remove from heat, cover and steep for at least 10 minutes.
- Fill mugs halfway with the hot coffee. Pour the spiced milk through a strainer to top each mug.
- Stir in sugar or honey to taste.
The spiced milk would taste great combined with your favourite tea too!
