To open, gently pull the handle stopper and fill the infuser with loose tea, allowing room for the tea to expand.
Place the pointed end of the infuser into a cup of hot water and allow to steep until the desired strength is achieved.

I don't recommend using anything other than regular black tea in this (i.e., no flower petals, fruit pieces, etc.) as more delicate or sticky particles tend to stick to the inside of the infuser even if you're cleaning it out while it's hot.
